Guide to set up STB Emulator
Step 1: Download “STB EMULATOR” App from PlayStore or by pasting the below link into the browser.
Step 2: After installation, tap the “List” icon on the top left and open “Change Profile Data” from the menu list.
Step 3: Here, hit “Portal Settings” and enter the below URL as “Portal URL” and set “Profile Name” as desired.
Tip: If the portal doesn’t work with the given URL, raise a ticket for alternative portals.
Step 4: Go back to the previous menu and select “STB Configuration”.
Step 5: Under STB Configuration, select “STB Model” and set one from the given range and see what works for you.
Step 6: On the same screen, set “Screen Resolution” to “Auto”.
Step 7: Note down the Mac Address shown under the same menu. It may be needed to add to the panel later.
Note: You may need to provide the Mac Address in your account details.
Step 8: Go back to the main screen of the app and tap the “Three doted list menu” on the top right of the screen.
Step 9: Under this list, select “Media Player” and make sure it is set as default.
Tip: You can switch between other players and see what works best for you.
Step 10: At last, go back the main screen and tap “Reload Portal” from the menu list on the top left.
If everything is set correctly, the portal will be loaded. If it doesn’t then you have missed something out.
Follow the same procedure again.
